Title: Black Beauty
Size: 36" x 24" x 1/4"
Medium:Oil on Canvas
An 1877 novel by English author Anna Sewell. It was composed in the last years of her life, during which she remained in her house as an invalid. The novel became an immediate best-seller, with Anna dying just five months after its publication, but having lived long enough to see her only novel become a success. With fifty million copies sold, Black Beauty is one of the best-selling books of all time. Hopefully my painting will survive as long as the book.
Title: Boots Made For Walking
Size: 24" x 36"
Medium: Oil On Canvas Board
Sold As: Unframed
I dare say that there will be few who have heard of Nancy Sinatra, daughter of crooner Frank. You may also want to Google "Frank Sinatra" if you are struggling with the name.
Nancy Sinatra captured our attention back in the 1960’s when she came out with her hit song, “These Boots Are Made For Walking” and wore her boots with little dresses or miniskirts on stage. In the 1960’s Go-Go boots made their debut, those knee-high women’s boots were all the rage! The name came from the French word, la gogue, which means joy or happiness.
Title: Hidden Treasure
Size: 24" x 36" x 1/4"
Medium: Oil on Canvas
An evocative painting of a slender sun-tanned woman making her way along a beach with the out-going tide lapping at her feet. She stops, if only briefly, to claim a small treasure that caught her attention as it glinted in the sun.
It could be nothing more than just a shell, or perhaps a pebble that has been polished smooth by the water. It might even be a gold coin, a doubloon perhaps, part of a pirates treasure.
The only thing you need add is the sound of a seagull to be transported by my painting and on to a beach of your making, a Caribbean holiday perhaps.
